AQT will contact the Activation Server on a regular basis (e.g. every 5 days). This is to keep track of when your license was last used.
This change was implemented on request from a number of customers to help identify licenses which are no longer in use.

Note that you can see whether this is happening by looking either in the Debug file or with Options > Diagnostics > Show Errors.
If your license has been deactivated or rescinded then you may be put back into evaluation mode. If this happens you need to reactivate your license or contact us for assistance.
