Extended Edition of AQT

The Extended Edition of AQT contains a number of more advanced features of AQT. These are:

• the Administration component of AQT. This provides many functions for administering your database:
  • create / alter / drop various database objects (tables, views, procedures)
  • generation of full DDL for your database objects
  • a comprehensive Manage Authorities module for managing the access rights to your tables and other objects
  • an Object Compare tool, that allows you to compare the definition of your objects.
• the Data Loader. This allows you to load the content of your tables from a variety of sources - other tables, queries, files, Excel.
  • data can be loaded between databases of different types
  • it is able to copy LOB data, making it one of the few tools on the market that can copy LOBs between different database types
  • contains a powerful mapper for mapping the data from the source to the target. Simple manipulation can be done on the data.
  • it is optimised for high-speed loading.
  • can be run in batch mode.
• the Data Compare tool. This allows you to compare the contents of two tables, views or queries.
  • the tables can be on different databases.
  • Data Compare can generate a script to resync the contents of the two tables
  • can be run in batch mode.
• the System Monitor. This allows you to display processes and other internal information of your database.

Purchasing

The Extended Edition is a separately purchasable component of AQT.

• if you don't already have an AQT license, you can obtain a license for the Extended Edition by purchasing an Extended Edition license ($300 USD)
• if you already have a Standard Edition license, you can upgrade to the Extended Edition by purchasing an Edition Upgrade license ($150 USD).

Evaluation mode of Extended Edition

If you do not have an Extended Edition license, you are in Evaluation mode of the Extended Edition features. You will be able to use sufficient parts of the Extended Edition in order to understand how it operates, however it's use will be restricted:

• you will be able to use the Administration functions, however you will not be able to run any of the generated scripts.
• the Object Compare can be used, however the compare all objects in schema function will be disabled
• the Data Loader can be used, however will be restricted to loading 100 rows
• the Data Compare tool can be used, however will be restricted to comparing 100 rows
