Advanced Query Tool Version 10
AQT v10 has a number of new features for both Standard and Extended Edition users.

Find Objects

- find all objects which contain a particular name (for instance a column name)
- once a set of objects have been found, their details can be displayed
- configurable, so other searches can be added if required.

- search a set of tables for a particular piece of text
- tables and rows which match are displayed
- can search CLOB, XML and other data types
- has advanced search options - search on multiple conditions, numeric search.

Load Multiple Tables
|
- this is an extension to the Data Loader feature
. It allows you to load all the tables in a schema in single operation.
- data for the load can come from tables in another schema (in either the same or another database), a set of csv files in a directory or worksheets in an Excel file
- has a Create Table mode which allows the tables being loaded to be automatically created
- can be scripted - eg. run in batch (unattended) mode

Compare Multiple Tables

- this is an extension to Data Compare. It allows you to compare the data across two schemas in a single operation.
- Schemas being compared can be in the same or different databases. Even between databases of different types.

- Object Compare now generates a script to resync the definition of two objects

Other

- Database Explorer Disk Cache. The displays in the Database Explorer can be cached to disk. This will give a fatser startup time for AQT when connected to databases with a large number of objects.
- Auto Reconnect. AQT can auto-reconnect to a database when it finds that the connection has failed.
- Column Highlight. The Run SQL window can highlight the column and table names in your query.
